 My wedding was over 35 years ago... but I still remember my 3rd date with Brandon(we met through Together Dating service, he was my 5th date)....I knew when I left the restaurant I was in deep trouble....I was falling in love with this guy and after reading some of his journals from before he met me...he knew there was someone for him...it was me. God , I miss him!

We brought the 91 acre property in 1998 and moved in April of that year. Brandon always wanted a apple orchard. But this property was long out of use when we bought it. It had been the largest orchard in Merrimack County in the 30's and 40's with 3,000 standard apple trees.
Brandon was a tech guy , but was extremely good at any craft or skill he took up. He built a pole barn, a shed for the donkey, shelters for the goats, a free standing chicken house and a chicken house attached to the pole barn. He also helped to put up the timber frame kitchen Addition and did most of the work himself on the interior and exterior structural panels. He was a very handy guy! He also sold our meat birds that he processed on the farm and USDA processed lamb and goat when it was available. He also sold the Good Things in Jars that I made at the Farmers Markets in the area. He was quite a talker and could get in long discussions about cooking everything we sold. He also was the only person I knew who could read computer books and manuals and understand them! He was taught to do plumbing and other skills from the master plumbers, masons and carpenters who worked for him when he owned a bath and kitchen renovation business. |

I have received the boxed bed and I have a frame to use with it. My niece Jane has helped me to make quite a dent in this job!
I still need to rearrange the furniture in the library. The bench needs to move under the southern windows so I can put storage against the bathroom wall for my winter clothes. |
