What's Up at WRLG
FARM BLOG
FROM THE FARMERS POINT OF VIEW
The summer flowers faded slowly, then the frost came quite suddenly....no more Zinnias.
The grass in the field behind the house was still green in late October, early November and finally the colder temps brought the grazing to an end.... Now the indoor grazing season for people begins. I am referring to the Holiday Season....that we enjoy but also dread. With the time change, colder temps. longer dark nights and many reasons to sit and eat , alone or with friends,we can find it hard to get enough exercise to balance our food consumption. But after 3 years of Covid isolation ,meeting with a large group of people is much more enjoyable than scary.
