All the Beef and Pork I sell is grown and processed by Montshire Farms( formally named P.T Farm) in North Haverhill ,NH . The farm was sold but is in good hands and so far the quality of the meat has not changed, still locally raised, produced and processed. Eventually I will have lamb to sell, but the logistics right now are a bit daunting. I need to reduce my flock by 50 at least....too many boys. I have eggs but not enough extra to bring to the market. I have lost 13 laying hens this spring and summer drastically reducing the egg supply . But the young girls should start laying in October of 2023.
My inventory of GOOD THINGS IN JARS has increased! I am working to pad out my inventory of pickles, jams and relishes to last into the 2024 canning season.
dessert sauce goes great on ice cream or swirled into the top of a ricotta pie or cheese cake.
sauce was too dense....there were explosions while in the canner!
