FARM BLOG
FROM THE FARMERS POINT OF VIEW
I was away seeing my 97 yr old Mother and two awesome friends farm sat for me. They not only took care of the animals but helped me by doing an amazing amount of clean up. I am very lucky to have such wonderful friends! With Brandon's death in September of 2018 it has sometimes been overwhelming with all the tasks on the farm and going to work while still trying to keep paying the bills and getting basic chores done in the house. I am still waiting for the roofers to come through to work on my barn roof before I can have anything done with my broken septic system as both jobs are on the same side of the house where the work needs to be done. I do have a firm coming to put in new permanent fencing and gates which will make my life much easier as far as the sheep and chickens are concerned. What I have learned from this is having more THINGS is not a good idea, because downsizing your house of 28 years (clothes, farm animals,furniture..etc) is very difficult. Comments are closed.
