FROM THE FARMERS POINT OF VIEW
Today was a beautiful winter (almost spring) day. It was 41 degrees and no wind. The lambs ,ewes and rams were relaxing and chewing their cud when I came down this afternoon to fill the water through and feed the bottle lamb. The lambs were relaxing with their mothers or were lounging with other lambs outside in a lamb pile. Around 5 pm I went down to give the sheep hay, turn the light on for the chickens and as the adult sheep ate the lambs were running around in packs. Actually they look more like a school of fish....going one way and then reversing direction and circling around through the barn and back around to where the adult sheep were eating. I love watching the lambs! Comments are closed.
